Week four, usually known as the week of the first exams. When you talk about the exams, it always makes you wonder how hard it is going to be, what will be covered and so on. But, all of those dilemmas become clear when you have the exam in front of you. This week I had an exam on Global Standards, which is a great and not that difficult class, it went pretty good. I got a highly satisfying grade that gave me motivation to keep up with the hard word knowing the result will come itself. In the other hand this week was free of big assignments, which made it little bit easier then previous ones.
With not many things to do around here, during this weekend, we had something that made some change to the ordinary. The grand opening of the Park Point Complex. This event took place in the yard of my apartment, which means there was no need to take any transportation to get there. The most entertaining part of the even was the Jazz concert, where two different groups performed for two hours or so. It was good even to break the monotony of the weekends at Park Point.
One of the most important events of this week was the Thursday dinner organized by the CMS for the new international students. Special thanks for Jim Myers for the hospitality showed to us and making us feel valued as students. Also, big thanks to Lyndsey and Donika for coming to the dinner and always making our life at RIT easier. Also to mentioned, with us for dinner was the other student from Kosovo, Dita, who started an MBA program at RIT this year. It was a great chance to meet with some staff of CMS and other new international students. This is a quick warp up of the events of this week, more coming up following weeks.
